【摘要】:Theviscosity-gravityconstant(VGC)isausefulfunctionfortheapproximatecharacterizationoftheviscousfractionsofpetroleum.2Itisrelativelyinsensitivetomolecularweightandisrelatedtoafluidscompositionasexpressedintermsofcertainstructuralelements.ValuesofVGCnear0.800indicatesamplesofparaffiniccharacter,whilevaluescloseto1.00indicateapreponderanceofaromaticstructures.Likeotherindicatorsofhydrocarboncomposition,theVGCshouldnotbeindiscriminatelyappliedtoresidualoils,asphalticmaterials,orsamplescontainingappreciablequantitiesofnonhydrocarbons.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthecalculationoftheviscosity-gravityconstant(VGC)ofpetroleumoilshavingviscositiesinexcessof4cSt.=4X10-6m-2/sat40176C(104176F).1.2AnnexA1describesamethodforcalculatingtheVGCfromSaybolt(SUS)viscosityandrelativedensity.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.>1.4ThevaluesstatedineitheracceptableSIunitsorinotherunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.
