【摘要】:histestmethoddeterminesthedegreeandrateofanaerobicbiodegradationofsyntheticplasticmaterials(includingformulationadditives)onexposuretoanaerobic-digestermunicipalsewagesludgefromawaste-waterplant,underlaboratoryconditions.Thistestmethodisdesignedtoindexplasticmaterialsthataremoreorlessbiodegradablerelativetoapositivestandardinananaerobicenvironment.Thistestmethodisapplicabletoallplasticmaterialsthatarenotinhibitorytothemicroorganismspresentinanaerobicsewagesludge.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsaregiveninSection8.
