【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversgeneralrequirementsthatshallapplytostainlesswireandwirerods.Wirerodsareasemifinishedproductintendedprimarilyforthemanufactureofwire.Wireisintendedprimarilyforcoldforming,includingcoiling,stranding,weaving,headingandmachiningascoveredunderthelatestrevisionofeachofthefollowingASTMspecifications:A313/A313M,A368,A478,A492,A493,A580/A580MandA581/A581M.1.2Incaseofconflictingrequirements,theindividualmaterialspecificationandthisgeneralrequirementspecificationshallprevailintheordernamed.1.3GeneralrequirementsforflatproductsotherthanwirearecoveredinSpecificationA480/A480M.1.4GeneralrequirementsforbarandbilletproductsarecoveredinSpecificationA484/A484M.1.5ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.6Unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablemetricspecificationdesignation,thematerialshallbefurnishedintheinch-poundunits.
